RANT VAN: Your take on teacher sickouts

There's been another day of sickouts in the Detroit Public School District.

Twenty-four schools were closed today, due to teachers calling in sick. It's been going on for a couple of weeks now.

Teachers say it's the only way they can draw attention to the deplorable conditions inside the DPS schools.

But the Emergency Manager says it's only making it harder to get funding help from Lansing lawmakers, who are upset about the sickouts.
