Uploading a photo to Facebook from the Joe Louis Arena may get a lot easier for some fans.
AT&T announced that the company added a new base station at the arena to give their customers faster and more reliable service.
The 4G LTE technologies will make it easier to text, watch videos and post to social media inside the Joe, according to the company.
“We want our customers to have a great experience. They’ll be able to download, upload, stream and play games faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network,” said Jim Murray, president, AT&T Michigan, in a press release. “We’re always working to provide better coverage. And we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that.”
Many fans also hop on the free Wi-Fi while attending the games. Last year, Olympia Entertainment launched a free high-speed public Wi-Fi at the Joe Louis Arena. People just need to connect to the #JLAwifi network.
