48 Hour Facebook Challenge prank targeting kids has parents on edge

What’s floating, spreading all over Facebook, other social media platforms and the news?

It's appears to be a new Facebook challenge, targeting kids.  It's being coined the 48 Hour Challenge.

The mission, you pretend to go missing for 48 hours, to see how many likes, comments and shares you can accumulate on Facebook. 

It seems to have originated from a report out of the UK. According to a published report, a teenager pulled this prank and the parents were petrified.

We spoke with parents, police, a school administrator and students, to get their opinions about this alleged prank.
