Water woes on Detroit’s East Side has the executive director of a church housing corporation’s frustration level reaching the boiling point.

The Church of the Messiah Housing Corporation prides itself on being able to provide a nice neighborhood, with nice neighbors for low income families. However, billing problems with the water department is creating a nightmare for some tenants.

“We have been working on this since May 3rd.” said Executive Director Joan Moss. “Last we’ve heard it’s because of a new system.”

When Moss couldn’t get the issue resolved, she reached out to 7 Action News Reporter Ronnie Dahl.
