Detroit Police Chief James Craig is holding a press conference on Monday and he is expected to touch on a variety of issues.
Among the issues, Craig will talk about his plans to continue to combat crime in the city. He's also expected to announce a plan to "take back your neighborhood."
He will also discuss the recent violence against children in the city. In the last month, a 3-year-old girl was shot and killed, a 6-month-old girl was shot and killed and a 4-year-old boy was shot and injured.
Craig is also expected to hold some community groups accountable for their actions.
The press conference will take place at Detroit Public Safety Headquarters at 1:30 p.m. WXYZ plans to stream the press conference live.
On Twitter, Detroit police were discussing how criminals will get no passes with the department, with the community, and they plan to take back Detroit.
