WXYZ partnered with Leo's Coney Island for the Detroit School Supplies Drive, and with your donations, we were able to fill up semis with 20 tons of supplies.

Those include paper, journals, spiral notebooks, loose leaf paper, crayons, markers, pens and pencils, sticky notes, binders and much more.

Detroit teachers who want to pick up the supplies can do so at the City of Detroit General Services Department located at 6333 Huber St. in Detroit.

It will be open until 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27.

Teachers do have to show their Detroit Federation of Teachers (DFT) membership card to get supplies. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
