A Pontiac man is happy to be with his family after his semi truck plunged off the Rouge River bridge.
The accident happened early in the afternoon on July 24 near southwest Detroit.
State troopers say the driver Kevin Jackson was cut off by another driver who was also traveling northbound.
That’s when his truck slid to the left shoulder, crashed through the cement median and the cut all the way across to the other side of the highway. He and the semi then fell off the bridge.
The driver was taken to the hospital and is uninjured.
Jackson says that all drivers should think twice before making reckless decisions.
