Christmas came a bit early for one Detroit family. Kimberly Hardison was shocked to learn that she was the one receiving a car today.
She had gathered with the group We Are One Community expecting someone else to receive the keys to a fully-loaded Ford Escape. Instead, the mother of five learned it was hers.
Kimberly lost her own car when it caught fire on her birthday. She's since struggled to get to work and take her kids to school in cabs.
"I'm so grateful for everyone who donated," she said through tears. "I've been blessed in a way I never thought I'd be blessed."
