A 46-year-old man reported to Detroit Police that he was robbed, then stabbed in the chest while inside of a men's restroom at the Greektown Casino.
However, police say that during the course of the investigation, the information was false.
Police say the complainant was not robbed and that the injury incurred was self-inflicted.
A warrant request is being prepared for submission to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office for review and approval.
