A Muslim family from Ann Arbor is scared their father could be taken away from them, after he was detained during a January meeting with his immigration officer.

A hearing and rally are being held today at the McNamara Federal Building  at 2:00 pm in Detroit.

At the end of January, Yousef Ajin was arrested and detained during a routine meeting with his immigration officer in Kalamazoo.

He lives in Ann Arbor, married with four kids. He's Muslim.

His family still doesn't understand why this happened.

Ann Arbor's mayor is joining the fight.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement is not commenting on this case right now.
