Teen uses texts, Facebook to confess to shooting

"I said I was sorry I'll pay for anything that I shoot up !!!" That is part of a text message that an 18-year-old woman sent after she allegedly fired at a house on Minden Street near City Airport Tuesday night.

Sabrina Moore lives in the house with her children and grandchildren.

Moore tells 7 Action News that the young woman was upset with her 21-year-old son He doesn't live in the house, but the young woman was apparently upset because he slept with another woman and hooking up with her.

In her messages, the woman claims she only meant to shoot in the air. She later says she'll pay for anything she damaged.

"I'm sorry baby didn't know it was kids in there but I didn't shoot at the house I shoot in the air baby," the young woman wrote in a Facebook message to Moore's son who was not in the house at the time of the shooting.

Detroit Police are investigating. The young woman has not been arrested, but police confirm that the suspected shooter is an 18-year-old woman.

A warrant request could soon be in the hands of prosecutors for a determination on charges.
