A community is showing support for local law enforcement officers.
Friday night, officers from several departments were honored before the Pinckney vs. Howell football game and recognized for their dedication.
It was a way for the community to connect with cops and build relationships.
“These people are a part of our community and they are always going to be there.” Diane Harris told 7 Action News.
Students also held a fundraiser at the game to help support law enforcement programs in the area.
