Luxurious Hartland Township home could by yours for $3 million

An 11,000 square foot home sitting on more than 38 acres could be yours for a measly $3 million.

Gary Grondin started building the house in 2007, his family moved in 2 years later and now they’re moving out.

"Even though we don’t want to, we’re going to sell it now and probably build another one - but not like this," says Grondin.

Not like this one because that would be pretty hard to do.

The house sits back from the street on a private road and everything about it screams comfort - from its theater room, to its sitting room.  The wine cellar and spa have luxury written all over them.

But Gary says he built this house with one thing in mind: family.

“I haven’t stopped expanding what it does ever since. I built a sledding hill, a baseball field for my grandkids," says Grondin.

The house has 23 rooms in it and all of it was planned around the dining room. Grondin wanted enough space for his entire family to sit together during Christmas Eve dinner.

Gary also told us the reason he wants to move is to take advantage of low interest rates.

The plan is to sell his current home and then build a smaller one, about a fourth of its size.
