A family entertainment center in Clinton Township says they are doing everything they can to keep riders safe at their park.

CJ Barrymore got their first rollercoaster last year and said their biggest concern was safety.

While the state does not require additional training from what’s required, Rick Iceberg the owner of the park says he sends them to Florida every year to train with The National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials and The Amusement Industry Manufacturers and Suppliers Association.

"We don't want to hurt anybody, we don't want to make a mistake, we don't want to have to live with the fact that if we hadn't done a test and found a crack and a wheel came off. We just don't want to do that,” Iceberg says.

Iceberg also has people from out of state inspect his rides, as well as allowing the fire department to come out to review their way around in case of an emergency.
