Jury selection is expected to begin today in the April Millsap murder trial.
Millsap was found murdered on the Macomb-Orchard Trail in July of 2014.
James VanCallis Jr., 34, is charged in the 14-year-old's murder. He is facing circumstantial and technological evidence investigators have long said point to him and only him. His attorneys argue otherwise.
Millsap was found just a mile or so from her Armada home, and is the victim of what prosecutors say was an attempted sexual assault that lead to strangulation.
A memorial garden was erected this past summer in Armada as a way to remember the teen.
