Shelby Township police said they have located a missing 85-year-old man safely.
Douglas Lee Cummings was last seen Friday when he left his house in his car. His car is a 2001 tan Chevy Prizm with license plate number BMY1936.
Police say he took some money from the bank and left his cell phone at home with his Alzheimer's and heart medication.
According to police, he made a comment on Friday saying he "should just get into his car and head south," but he doesn't have any relatives in southern states.
