The Macomb County Sheriff's Office has charged three juveniles who are accused of throwing rocks at more than a dozen cars.

They believe there may be more suspects at large.

Police received a complaint last November from a man whose windshield suddenly shattered on 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township.  The shattering windshield caused glass to fly inside the vehicle and cut a passenger's hands.

A Shelby Township patrol vehicle was also hit by rocks that were thrown by someone sitting in the back seat of another car.

The suspects were eventually arrested by police.

Detectives say the juveniles are responsible for at least 14 crimes. This resulted in damages of more than $20,000.

Investigators say victims could have been seriously injured or killed.
