Darlene Deciantis-Stolaruk, 72, is charged with a list of crimes after she is accused assaulting not only her husband but a deputy as well.
A call came into law enforcement in the 1900 block of Star Batt Drive Friday around 4 p.m. It was at a business in Rochester Hills.
Oakland County deputies discovered the woman assaulting her 90 year old husband.
When a deputy told Deciantis-Stolaruk she was under arrest, she turned more violent. A struggle ensued and she and the deputy fell to the ground.
The deputy was injured landed on his left shoulder. He later experienced pain and numbness.
According to Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, the deputy is okay and back to work.
Deciantis-Stolaruk was taken into custody and is now charged with Assault And Battery, Assault On A Police Officer and Damage To Property.
