Two schools in the Avondale School District in Auburn Hills are on lockdown due to a police investigation.
According to Auburn Hills police, Avondale High School and Auburn Elementary School are on lockdown.

Both schools are located east of Squirrel Rd. between Auburn Rd. and South Blvd. in Auburn Hills.
According to the superintendent, there are no threats to the schools, but there have been threats to businesses in the area.
