Bloomfield Hills Schools is celebrating after a second student scored a perfect score on the ACT in as many years.
According to the district, 13-year-old Alan Zhang, who attends West Hills Middle School, got the perfect score while participating at the NUMATS/Northwestern University Midwest Academic Talent Search in April.
In July 2015, 15-year-old Helena Gregg from Bloomfield Hills Schools also scored a perfect score.
Alan said he felt "disbelief" when he first found out about the perfect score.
According to the ACT, about .1 percent of students who take the ACT get a 36 composite score.
As for what's next, Alan said he doesn't have any colleges in mind right now, but knows he'll be attending Bloomfield Hills High School.
