Dash-cam video shows a mom in Troy getting caught drunk driving with a child in the car.
It happened on Aug. 13, and the video shows Troy police behind a red Jeep after receiving reports of it driving erratically.
The officer smelled alcohol in the car, and pulled 36-year-old Amanda Gill, from Clinton Township, out for testing.
Her 7-year-old child was in the backseat, police say, and they reassured the child by saying the police just had to talk to her mom.
Gill admitted to having three drinks that night, but her blood-alcohol level was .182, more than twice the legal limit. It was also not her first time being caught.
She was charged with a DUI and child endangerment, while the child was safely placed with another family member.
