The Pittsfield Police Department responded to reports of a shooting between two women on Saturday.
The victim, a 27-year-old Pittsfield Township woman, sustained injuries and died at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, police say.
The suspect who reported the shooting is a 27-year-old woman from Garden City. The two women were reportedly dating.
The suspect has been taken into police custody.
