The closure is at Rosewood.

Police say a 60-year-old man was crossing Ecorse when he was hit by a car. Video from Chopper 7 shows a black Lincoln at the scene with damage to the front window.

We are told the driver stayed at the scene.

The man's condition isn't known, but police say his injuries are serious. He was taken to the hospital by Huron Valley Ambulance.

Police are investigating to see if speed was a factor in the accident. At this time they say it does not appear as if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
