A 27-year-old suspect has now been linked to a series of 3 violent home invasions in the Grosse Pointes.
A police source confirmed the link to the 3rd home invasion to 7 Action News Tuesday night.
The suspect was taken into custody Sunday morning outside a home on Madison in Grosse Pointe Farms.
The first assault happened last week in Grosse Pointe Woods. The second was in Grosse Pointe on Saturday morning.
Police say the latest incident involved a minor.
The 27-year-old man at the center of the investigations lives on Moross, not far from all of the crimes.
The suspect also has an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Wayne County Third Circuit Court in a home invasion case.
He has also served time in prison for armed robbery.
