Police are still looking for the man who attempted to carjack a woman getting gas Thursday afternoon at the BP gas station at Roosevelt and Southfield Freeway.
Nobody was injured.
The carjacking was caught on surveillance video.
Anybody with information can call police.
A man walking by saw the keys in the car and jumped in to take the car. He was stopped by a truck driver who jumped the guy and he ran off.
There are some things we can all do to stay safe:
- Take your keys with you
- Lock your car
- Be aware of your surroundings
- Don’t talk and text while getting gas
