Homeowner asks for help dealing with tree

Posted

A family says trees are dangerously close to their home and the limbs are constantly littering their lawn.

They have been trying to get help - with no luck.

Several 50 to 60 foot trees sit right next to their home. They says not only is it a dangerous situation, it is also messy and they want something done.

As the wind blows tree branches outside of Dolores Boland's home, she worries about what may happen.

She's been living in the home on Timber Ridge in Brownstown Township with her family for 18 years and says she's been dealing with tree trouble for a long time.

She says she's contacted the township and owner - but still nothing has been done.

We contacted the township. They tell us they sent an ordinance officer to the house back in November and that officer did not find the trees were a danger.

Dolores says yes they are.

We did find the property owner. He tells us he will be taking care of the three this Spring.

In the meantime, the township says they will be sending someone tomorrow morning to check it out.
