A 3-year-old girl who was hit by a car while running across the road has died, 7 Action News has learned.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday on Grand River near Beech Daly.
The child was with three other adults when she ran across Grand River on her own. That's when a 21-year-old man ran into the road to get her. Both were hit by a 2015 Lincoln MKS that as in the left lane.
Both of them were rushed to the hospital, and the little girl died this weekend after being in critical condition.
The driver of the Lincoln, a 31-year-old resident from Northville, did stop at the scene.
The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition. We were not updated on his condition.
