A probable cause hearing was held in the case of a former Plymouth-Canton School District employee who is accused of sexting and performing sex acts on a teen.

Bridget Caplin is charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct in the case.

This all started when the victim's father took his son's phone in May. It led to a five-month long investigation.

His father claims Caplin sent his son nude photos, and accuses her of performing sex acts in a church parking lot. The victim was allegedly friends with Caplin's daughter.

The school district said it happened outside of school hours, and said they recently found out Caplin was charged with several crimes. She was a support staff member from East Middle School.

In the hearing, the judge reduced her bond from $250,000 to $100,00 but threatened to reverse it when she appeared to lose interest in the proceeding.

Caplin was also issued a tether and ordered to home confinement. She is not allowed on the internet or any social media.

In court, we also learned she is married with two children and has moved out of the area.
