On Saturday, volunteers from Citizen's Bank spent the day working to upgrade a home inside and out for someone very deserving.
Retired Staff Sgt. John Blizinski was a combat medic in Afghanistan for nearly seven years and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds sustained in combat.
He and his wife, Nicole, received life-changing news when they found out they were getting a home, 100 percent mortgage free, from Citizen's Bank and the Military Warriors Support Foundation.
