It’s a story you saw on 7 Action News Wednesday night - a real life hero, a ten-year-old Roseville boy who saved his two-year-old from drowning.

It’s a story that’s gotten the attention from The Rock - Dwayne Johnson - the star of his favorite movie.

With all of the attention he’s been getting, I asked Jacob what he wanted to be when he grows up.

His response is very fitting. He answered search and rescue.

Just when you thought this story couldn’t get any better, i also asked Jacob O’Conner, now that he is a real life hero to the rock who else this young hero considers to be a hero.

Jacob saved his brother Dillon from drowning.

A few weeks ago, Dillon slipped out the back door and jumped into the pool.

Jacob saw him floating in the water and immediately ran into the backyard and pulled him out of the pool and says he did what he saw The Rock do in his favorite movie Aan Andreas – the ten-year-old administered chest compressions on his unresponsive brother and saved his life.

The Rock got wind of our story and tweeted this:

I also asked Jacob if he had any advice for any young aspiring heroes.

His response? Never give up and believe you can do anything.
