A key player in the Flint water crisis has revealed the latest findings in a news conference Tuesday morning.

Professor Marc Edwards from Virginia Tech University has spent the last 8-months studying hundreds of water samples from flint.

Professor Edwards says the results show there is a decrease in lead levels, but warns that tap water in Flint is still not safe to drink.

They're urging people to continue using filters and bottled water until further notice.

However, Edwards is encouraging residents to run more water to flush out the system in order to speed up recovery.
