Hey, want some free water?! Only, it's not really free, but it is being wasted.
7 Action News Reporter Ronnie Dahl and her photographer recently came across a fire hydrant on Detroit's west side gushing water. It was covered with caution tape and a barricade, but not repaired.
According to neighbors, the water had been flowing from the hydrant at a steady pace for months.
