There's a special event at Greenfield Village that kicks off today!
Salute to America with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra is an event meant to celebrate Independence Day.
There will be picnics, games, activities for kids and food. The Detroit Symphony Orchestra and United States Army Field Band, Concert Band and Soldiers' Chorus will take to the stage.
A fireworks display will also accompany the music.
Salute to America runs June 30-July 3 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Tickets range from $15.50 to $25.00. VIP tickets run about $75.
