A teacher's assistant at A.L. Holmes Elementary/Middle School is accused of sexually assaulting students.
A Spokesperson for Detroit Public Schools says the man, who also volunteer's as the school's head basketball coach, was immediately removed from the building when the principal became aware of the allegations.
He is currently not under arrest.
Police officials with the district say they are looking into the possibility that multiple children were victims of either sexual assault or inappropriate contact.
