Authorities recovered the body of a 61-year-old man from Lake St. Clair on Wednesday.
The man's name has not yet been released, but the family has been notified.
The U.S. Coast Guard began conducting a search for the man on Tuesday, Aug. 14 after he did not resurface while swimming in the lake with his wife.
According to police, the couple was on a boat that drifted away as they were swimming. The wife said she looked back for her husband and noticed that he had disappeared.
The man was not wearing a life jacket.
