Two exit ramps to the Ambassador Bridge were closed down this morning in Detroit after a fatal accident.
The I-75 southbound and I-96 eastbound exit ramps to the bridge were shut down for several hours.
They have since reopened.
Michigan State Police say the driver of an SUV headed the wrong way on the I-75 exit ramp and attempted to re-enter the expressway when they struck a semi-truck and rolled over.
The accident happened around 4 a.m.
We're told there were three occupants in the vehicle. MSP says the front seat passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver and back seat passenger were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to police.
