A woman was transported to the hospital after an attempted carjacking on Detroit's west side.

It happened at Grand River and Dundee.

The suspect reportedly fired at least two shots at the woman.

She was able to drive away to the 10th precinct where she was then transported to a nearby hospital.

The suspect reportedly had a getaway drive, according to police.

We're told the suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, black shoes, and was in a late model 1989 navy blue Ford Focus.

The woman was not shot, but injured by shattered glass.
