Social media is going on a deep dive. Snapchat’s popular Spectacles are getting a diving mask makeover suitable for underwater adventures.
Royal Caribbean just revealed the "SeaSeekers." It’s a custom designed scuba mask that can hold the popular and whimsical video recording glasses.
Divers who wear the masks will reportedly be able to take Snaps while exploring the deep sea.
Royal Caribbean announced that it will be using the SeaSeekers mask to launch an underwater adventure campaign.
People are invited to watch different exploration sessions starting June 21 on the company’s Snapchat channel.
Royal Caribbean notes it's also trying to secure a patent for the special mask — with the goal of giving its customers exclusive use.
According to Royal Caribbean, special dives featured on the Snapchat channel will include the migration of whale sharks, a coral reef restoration project and an underwater sinkhole.
