The Belle Isle Conservancy is asking for volunteers to help clean up around the park following Monday's storms.
On Wednesday, the conservancy posted on its Facebook page photos of several fallen trees and branches scattered about the park. Workers at the Conservancy, along with park staff, are looking for volunteers to help with clean up on Thursday morning between 9 a.m. and noon outside of the Flynn Pavilion.
If you decide to help, organizers are asking that you bring your own pair of work gloves and water to stay hydrated.
"Our focus will be to collect downed branches throughout the park and remove debris from covering the drains," the Facebook post read.
