The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office has charged 20-year-old Noah Damron after it is alleged that he was intoxicated and driving at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the family's SUV near Telegraph and Northline on Feb. 3.

Officials say Damron also had a firearm in his car at the time of the crash.

Damron is facing numerous charges including Reckless Driving Causing Death, Reckless Driving Causing a Serious Impairment, Operating While Intoxicated Causing Death, Operating While Intoxicated Causing Serious Injury, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and four counts of Felony Firearm. The weapons charges stem from the gun that was found in the car.

Police say because Damron is only 20-years-old, he is not eligible to hold a CPL. In the state of Michigan, you must be 21-years-old to hold one.

His bond is set at $2 million in the Taylor crash case. Another $50,000 bond has been set for Damron for a felonious assault incident, a separate case that he was also charged and arraigned in today.

In the separate assault case, Damron allegedly pointed a gun at someone.

A friend of Phoebe's family has started a GoFundMe to help raise money to cover the cost of her funeral. The goal has been raised to $20,000 and, at last check, over $17,000 had been raised.

The following was written on the GoFundMe page for funeral expenses for Phoebe Elliot:

Phoebe was a beautiful soul who was tragically taken away from this world too soon. She was a caring sibling, a wonderful student, and a blessing sent from God. Her young life was cut too short by a careless, drunk driver.

Please consider helping her aunt and uncle in this time of need. They took her and her siblings into their home when Phoebe was very young, and provided a life that she deserved.

Any donations received will go toward funeral expenses. Thank you and God bless you.
