(WXYZ) — The weather is warming up, April is right around the corner and the countdown to Opening Day is on.

But not every fan of the Tigers will have tickets to the April 4 home opener against the Kansas City Royals.

So where do you go to celebrate the return of baseball in Detroit if Comerica isn't an option? Our 7 Action News viewers chose the best places to root on the home team in our Thursday's Top 7.

#7– Bookies Bar & Grille

Number 7 on our list is Bookies Bar & Grille on Cass Avenue in Detroit. At Bookies, you can bet they'll have drink specials and a party bus if you're going to the game.

#6 – Detroit Home Opener Festival

The Detroit Home Opener Festival comes in sixth. It's a big party with live music, DJs and activities at the Madison Avenue Festival Grounds.

#5 – Elwood Bar & Grille

If you want to be close to the action, the Elwood Bar and Grille is the place to be. You're right across the street from Comerica and you'll be close enough to hear the first homer of the season.

#4 – Tigers Home Opener Party at LCA in the District Detroit

At number 4, it's the Detroit Tigers Home Opener Party at Little Caesars Arena. It's definitely going to be a good time because, of course, they know sports!

#3 – 97.1 The Ticket Block Party - Grand Circus

The block party is offering up a big stage with live music, a big crowd with big Tigers spirit, and a grand time at Grand Circus Park.

#2 – Beacon Park

Beacon Park lands in the number 2 spot. It's a free party with a big screen TV, food truck, lawn games and giveaways all in a heated tent.

#1 – J's Penalty Box

If you want to avoid the congestion of downtown but still want to get in on the Opening Day party, our 7 Action News Viewers say J's Penalty Box in Ferndale is the place to be. It tops our list.

The owner, Janice, says Opening Day is magical.

"Everybody is cheering and going crazy," she said. "The buzzer goes off on the scoreboard, red lights go off in the ceiling and those dollar Molsens start flying out! We just party. Is it a good time? It's a great time."
