Southgate police and Michigan State Police are investigating after a pick-up truck crashed into a parked semi in Detroit.
The scene is near Fort and Springwells.
Police say they were investigating a semi truck crash on I-75 northbound near Dearborn when they heard a man was following his stolen vehicle, a black Ford F-150.
We're told the suspect and person following the suspect were stuck in the northbound back-up and tried to get around the crash.
That's when a pursuit started.
The suspect reportedly ended up hitting a semi parked near Fort and Springwells. Both the suspect and person chasing fled on foot and were later taken into custody by police.
Detroit Firefighters were called to the scene because of a small fuel leak.
