(WXYZ) — The Transportation and Security Administration said it confiscated two firearms at Detroit Metro Airport last week. During a week in review post, the TSA said they screened 15.6 million passengers from Feb. 18 - Feb. 24 and discovered 83 firearms in carry-on bags. Of those, 75 were loaded and 30 had a round chambered.

"Reminder folks: bringing your firearm through a security checkpoint may result in a civil penalty of up to $13,333 and a disqualification from TSA Pre✓," they said.

According to a chart, they found a .45 Glock that was loaded and chambered at Feb. 21 and a .380 Ruger that was loaded but not chambered just a day later on Feb. 22.

Other items discovered include a double-edge knife, a butterfly knife, finger knife, belt buckle knife, throwing knives and more.
