Two schools in Oakland County are on lock down as authorities search for suspects in the area.

According to police, Oakland Christian and Rogers Elementary, both in Auburn Hills, are on lock down. Oakland Christian is off Shimmons near Squirrel and Rogers is near Walton and Dexter.

The schools were placed on lockdown as a precaution.

Border Patrol, Auburn Hills Police and the Oakland County Sheriff's Office are looking for two suspects on foot who escaped a traffic stop.

We're told immigration executed the traffic stop investigating immigration violations. Three people fled from the stop, but one was taken into custody.

Police say they pose no threat to the public, they do not believe the suspects are armed and they have no outstanding warrants.
