Two-year-old injured in Harper Woods carjacking

They are armed, dangerous and threw a 2-year-old little girl to the ground. Now, Harper Woods Police are asking for your help finding two carjackers.

It happened on Tuesday at about 11 p.m. in the 19000 block of Kenosha Street. The child’s mom was ordered to the ground by two men with guns. The carjackers then grabbed the 2-year-old girl and through her to the ground.

“They just threw her to the ground in her carseat still,” said the child’s grandmother.

The resident was not injured during the robbery, but the child did sustain a minor injury.

Police say the suspects then took off the victim’s 2007 Ford Edge and were followed by a light colored SUV.

Police have not yet recovered the stolen Edge and are asking for help finding it. The license plate is BFV330.
