Winter storm warning for Lapeer County and northward into the thumb. Winter Weather Advisory for the northern and western suburbs until 3 pm Monday.
The heaviest snow will start overnight and cover the northern half of Livingston County, NW Oakland, all of Lapeer and Sanilac counties.
Your Monday morning commute will be snow covered in the areas mentioned above and the best drive with only wet roads will be around Detroit south through Monroe county.
