Vehicle located in hit-and-run caught on video in Shelby Township neighborhood

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Shelby Township police have located the vehicle caught on video slamming into a parked car then speeding off from the scene.

The driver has also been "tentatively identified," according to police.

On Oct. 28 around 4 p.m., a white pickup truck hit the victim's unoccupied vehicle, forcing it into another car and onto the neighboring grass in the area of Jeffry Street and Justine Street.

The driver of the suspect vehicle did not stop at the scene or notify police.

The case remains under investigation.
