A Sterling Heights police officer, firefighters and paramedics are being called heroes after saving the life of a 70-year-old man.

The whole thing was caught on the squad car's surveillance.

Officer Randy Shippy was first to respond after a woman called 911 to report that her husband was unresponsive in the passenger seat of their car.

The couple had been driving on Clinton River Road on Tuesday, October 25 when the woman's husband suffered from a medical condition.

Officer Shippy immediately pulled the man from the car and administered CPR until firefighters and paramedics arrived on scene.

They were able to revive the man through multiple defibrillations and medication.

The man was conscious when they transported him to the hospital.
