(WXYZ) — "I Love Lucy" is making a big comeback – you'll be able to see the show on the big screen in color.
On Tuesday, you can see five classic episodes of the series in local theaters in honor of Lucille Ball's birthday. Ball spent part of her childhood in Wyandotte.
Ten theaters across metro Detroit will be participating, including Emagine Rochester Hills, AMC Livonia 20, the Maple Theatre in Bloomfield Hills and Cinemark Southland in Taylor.
In addition to the classic episodes, there will be a bonus feature about how a production team got the show ready for the big screen.
