WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — The West Bloomfield Police Department will implement new gear to help their officers' bodies.
In a Facebook Post, the department wrote: "Our officers are beginning a transition to body armor that transition to body armor that will be worn outside their uniform shifts. It is designed to distribute the weight of their equipment to lessen stress on our officer’s hips and backs."
